About F.A. Davis's Scholarships

• Must be currently pursuing one of the following degrees or certifications: LPN/LVN, RN, BSN, RN-BSN, MSN, DNP, OT, OTA, OTD, PT, PTA, DPT, MLS, MLT, AT, MA, PA, CST, Respiratory Therapy, or comparable health science specialty.
• Must be enrolled in the upcoming academic school year (2025-2026).
• Must be a student in good standing with an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Must be a student in the U.S. or Canada (Must be a citizen, legal resident, or holder of a valid student visa)

Requirements

• Proof of enrollment, delivered as one of the following: enrollment verification letter, acceptance letter, course registration for upcoming semester, screenshot of unofficial transcript.
• Short Essay (400-600 words): Describe something unique about you or your experience that inspired you to pursue a career in healthcare. How will you use this scholarship and this quality/experience to help “shape the future” of your chosen field?

Where is the scholarship sent?
The scholarship is sent to the applicant’s school and will be applied to their tuition for the following semester.

I am graduating this semester, am I still able to apply?
Unfortunately, because the scholarship is applied to the following semester, we cannot accept submissions from those graduating this Spring semester.

It's past the deadline, can I still apply?
We are not able to accept late applications for any reason. Please make sure to apply early in case of technical or last-minute issues. Please note that the application closes at 11:45 PM and not 11:59 PM on April 13th.

When will the winners be announced?
Winners will be announced in Late April/Early May 2025. We receive a lot of excellent applications each semester and work hard to choose our winners - please be patient with us as we go through this process.

Who will see the short essay from my scholarship application?
During the selection process, only F.A. Davis employees will have access to your essay. If you are selected as one of our scholarship recipients, excerpts from your essay will be used in our press release announcement.
